About the Hosts

Dawn Graber has spent the last 25 years raising four children, two with complex disabilities, and navigating special education and healthcare systems. Her desire to turn her life experiences into advocacy led her to ASK Resource Center where she now helps facilitate the ASK Each Other Virtual Support Group for parents. Her vision is for family-centered care to be the standard in healthcare and education through active partnerships between families and the organizations that serve them.

Deb Chiodo is a Family Partnership & Professional Development Project Coordinator and Co-Director at ASK. Prior to working at ASK, Deb was an elementary school principal for over 20 years focusing on collaborative leadership, mentoring teachers and developing and designing curriculum to enhance and support all student’s needs. She is passionate about advocating for families and student’s needs, heading up the initiative Family School Partnership with leading education experts from around the country.
