Join this interactive session lead by a former parent-side special education attorney who will share the tips, tricks and common hang-ups to resolving conflict among IEP team members from his time in the field. This session will include some presentation and some group discussion. Learn from each other, and practice what is shared.

Speaker Bio:

Daniel Van Sant is a disability rights attorney who has practiced most extensively in the areas of inclusive education, gender-based violence, and inclusive international development. He draws on his personal and professional experience with disability in leading the disability policy work at The Harkin Institute for Public Policy & Citizen Engagement. Daniel's work at The Harkin Institute is focused on creating a world where every person with a disability has access to competitive, integrated employment.
