Daniel Van Sant is a disability rights attorney at The Harkin Institute for Public Policy & Citizen Engagement. His personal and professional advocacy journey started in rural Iowa and has taken him around the world. He will share some of this journey as well as pieces of disability history and culture that will motivate the audience to learn more about the disability rights movement, find power in their own disability, and learn to become better allies.
