Abigail Barker is the Area Director for Mosaic at Home, where her leadership focuses on delivering personalized services and achieving the best possible outcomes for every client. With a Social Work degree and eight years of experience, Abigail champions strategic growth to meet community needs, overseeing services for more than 250 adults in the Des Moines metro. Having been a committed leader at Mosaic for four years, she is excited to share how our organizations can best work together to strengthen resources and enhance support for our shared community members.

Joan Baumert is a lifelong legal guardian and dedicated mother to three adults with disabilities. Her trust in Mosaic spans nearly 25 years, built on the quality care provided to her son with Down Syndrome, which made the choice clear for her two special-needs granddaughters. Today, Joan shares her unique perspective as a long-term family partner and passionate advocate for compassionate care.
